 Indian Neutrality is Desirable


Whereas Russian and Ukrainians (Supported by NATO & US) are engaged in a mortal combat of life and death, from behind the scene US/NATO are fighting a virtual war in Ukraine. The sanctions are one part of it which in the long run prove ineffective. Sonner than later US will be forced to release the pile of Russian reserve money ($700 billion) or a high seas military confrontation of US and Russia is next. It is not conditional on whether fighting stops in Ukraine or not. It is Russian money which US has frozen. They have no business in that. The US would be forced to withdraw their sanctions or else. I am sure US will chicken out.

As regards to fighting in Ukraine; tell me which invasion stops short of its objective. Did two US invasions of Iraq in 1991 and 2001 stopped in the middle. The same is true about Afghanistan. Ukrainian are putting up a brave fight and are some places they are winning. It is all because of US made missiles and satellite targeting of missiles using US GPS or StarLink. Sooner than later the Russians will get over all the US aid and make US aid ineffective. . In the meantime the Ukrainian cities will be a pile of rubble. This point the Ukrainian President Zelensky is unable to understand.

The US and NATO are fighting a supremacy war in Ukraine. They want to drag rest of the world into it. India for one, rightly refusing to take sides. I believe Chinese feel the same way. Outside of Europe, if countries have taken sides is directly based on US money and US trade interest /investment in that country. Otherwise nobody wishes to be dragged into this East-West war of supremacy. This war will drag on until an agreement is struck to neutralize Ukraine completely. That the Ukrainians should have thought about early enough and saved the disaster. 

India needs money for development hence wish to shake hands with US and also need Oil because Russia is sitting on a pile of oil. Choices are both ways hence total neutrality is essential. In this whole war affairs the talk of finalization of QUAD will stay at standstill. It may not materialize after all. For India its benefit is to keep the Pakistanis at bay when India is dealing with China. A two front effort for India alone is not feasible or is a disaster in the making. All US supposed to do is to position a naval aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea and the Pakistanis get the message. India with well trained 1.4 million Army can deal with China with ease. The Himalayan geography is major hinderance for all Chinese ambitions. 

In short for India to stay neutral is normal. It is not India's fight. It is one white man's fight with the other. This scenario has been played in Europe for the last 400 years. the only respite was from 1945 till 2022. That respite has ended. Hence the fights have started all over again............. cheers

We are back to Obama Administration

  We are back to Obama Administration with Joe Biden as president now. Most of his men are ex Obamaites. Does America have to recreate not so smart Administration of the bygone era.
