  Chinese military preparations at LAC and India’s answer. There are quite a few false or may be true reports that Chinese have been upgrading their offence/Defence posture in Ladakh - LAC. Some folks are propagating scare tactic of Chinese plan to post 120,000 troops in the area. That may be an exaggeration but I do believe that as India is building up against the Chinese threat with troops, infrastructure and living quarters, so are Chinese on their side. This type of Chinese propaganda is typical of their war tactics. They, the Chinese, understand the Indian type, who get easily scarred and imagine that God Almighty is on Chinese side hence they will invade this year or next from that side. India has sufficient forces in big numbers with very efficient artillery and heavy tanks which can make a mince meat of Chinese light tanks and other military hardware, to stop any of their adventurism.  NATO weaponry in Ukrainian hands Are the Ukrainians likely to win a battle to recapture the territory the Russians have taken? Probably not... ... after the siege and surrender in Mariupol, there's nothing right to report. Even the twin cities of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk in the eastern Luhansk region are about to fall.  Chinese menace in Asia and the Indo-Pacific. Chinese belligerence in the last 15 years began with too much export money coming into their pockets. Their exports increased from $200 billion in 2000 to $1.5 trillion in 2010 and $3.1 billion by 2021. With that export cash, they built their infrastructure and started to modernize their military. They began their military spending spree from $100 billion in 2010 to $260 billion in 2021. This was a phenomenal rise with no visible enemy in sight. They began inviting military trouble when Xi Jinping became the president of China in 2013. It tripled the military budget and began new problems for all the outlying states of the China Sea. He revived old land/Sea claims which have been defunct for a century or two. Their main claim lay over all islands in the China Sea and challenged US to leave Taiwan and let it be integrated with the mainland.   Destruction in Ukraine and US Role We are led to believe that Ukraine is winning against the Russian invasion. That's what Western Media is trying to convince us. On the contrary, it is an erroneous idea that they are spreading.  No, the Ukraine isn't winning. In recent days, Ukraine has lost most of the Donbass, which is the industrial centre of eastern Ukraine. While Ukrainian President Zelensky is asking for long range weapons from the West, the Russians can rain back missiles on areas like Kiev’s, that they have spared. Result ……. as Russia reaches its target of capturing the industrial East of Ukraine, the greatest destruction will be imposed on the areas that have been spared so far. Wrong strategy for Ukraine.   Pakistan   With the withdrawal of the US and other western nations aid from Pakistan has made them financially desperate. For the last 50 years they played double game in the region and got American financial and military aid for free. That time is over and although Americans knew all about it but could do nothing as they were kind of ideologically stuck in Afghanistan as well as rest of Middle East. Hence military aid was free and so were IMF money which came for almost free. Whatever was short, they turned to China. Who lent them monies and road building help at 6% interest.
