Chinese Loss of Market in India

Overconfident Chinese Lost the military battle at LAC and Lost market in India.

China has offered no alternative but asked for retaliation for its scheme of salami slicing of Indian territory when least expected. Hence retaliation either militarily or economically is overdue. China expected India to take its lump and rest. It did not happen. India retaliated in kind. It broke the necks of Chinese soldiers who killed the local commander of Indian troops in a late night action on June 15. That action surprised the Chinese and scarred the front line troops into defensive position.

Now to let Chinese to trade and export to India cheap consumer goods would be a bad policy continuation. First shot was banning the popular apps. On the Chinese made phones. It is the tip of iceberg for retaliation. Chinese will come around to sell some more and then they have to be told to buy more from India or else take your goods back. They will get the message. The indo-China trade heavily favours China. That imbalance has to be redressed just as President Trump is forcing the Chinese in the corner.  Other actions include, offer home to manufacturing which is exiting China. India is the right place for it and we have the right leader in Modi leading the government.

All these actions together with redirected FDI by the West which previously built China for the last twenty years will do wonders. Sitting around thinking of harms with reduced trade with China and let them do a job on India, militarily and economically will harm India more than it does any good.
