 Maligning Modi for the Recent Covid Upsurge

Congress Party and its media operatives have been at the forefront to malign Modi for Covid Upsurge. The phase two upsurge caught India by a surprise. This upsurge lasted four weeks from Middle of April and decline was apparent in the middle of May. Soon the phase two will be a history. That gave Congress Party and sympathetic but paid media men an opportunity to launch a tirade against Modi. They had a few questions some or most were useless. The useful one were the reason the government and bureaucrats did not prepare for the second surge when it was happening elsewhere in the other countries. I sympathize with this question and need answers. Other pointless questions like shortage of Oxygen or Oxygenators etc., vaccine - why was it exported when it was internally needed. Well these questions are easily answered. There was enough license produced vaccine from SII source but nobody expected the surge the way it occurred. Even if India had triple the amount that would have a minor impact on the spread. The example is US. It had triple the Covid dead at 590,000 than any other country in-spite of abundance of vaccine. Also the other vaccine internally built was facing resistance without enough data hence it would take time to get approved and then manufactured. This argument was one of the many flimsy arguments used to challenge the government.

The shortage of Oxygen.....  The shortage was artificially created, one by hoarding other one by people like noisy Kejriwal who wanted other states quota to be handed over to him under a flimsy argument. Nobody asked him why, but printed his argument verbatim. Oxygen was shipped from factory to location on an express basis. A huge amount of Oxygen was brought from friendly neighbours, who had received favours from India returned the favour. They shipped Oxygen to India. Our requirement was greater than Oxygen manufactured or received from abroad. This requirement began to decline once the Covid virus peak was reached. Now so much Oxygen has been procured that India does not know what to do with it. It is under high pressure and helps to start fire. 

Then came the Congress Party “Toolkit” with express purpose to defame Modi and BJP Government. The virus spread is on decline, the Congress Party media and system operatives have been found with their hand in the Cookie Jar. It is dirty game, the Congress Party has played. Now there are going to be repercussions. BJP will reply in kind and with equal ferocity. Then Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi will have no place to hide.

 The West Asian QUAD and China  It is comprised of four countries: the United States, India, Israel and the United Arab Emirates. The name West Asian QUAD is poorly chosen. In fact, this is an International Forum on Economic Cooperation also known as I2U2. It has American blessings, but no formal declaration.
